1st Beer Scout and Cub Group

Providing Scouting and outdoor activities for boys and girls from Beer, Seaton and Branscombe. Cubs 7.5-10.5 years old on Tuesday nights 6.30-8.00pm. Scouts 10.5-14 years old on Thursday nights 7.15-8.45pm. We need additional adult support as leaders, committee members or sectional helpers.

Organises and maintains floral displays in Beer. Organises Flower Show and Charm Show. Maintains a high standard of floral displays to meet “Britain in Bloom” requirements.

Bat Friendly Beer

Working group formed to promote Beer as bat-friendly and ensuring benefits for bats, other wildlife and people.  Includes many local organisations and businesses collaborating to deliver education, community engagement and practical environmental tasks within Beer and the surrounding area, with the aim of achieving Bat Friendly Accreditation for the village.
